New Submissions: OCAF, Watkinsville and Gallery at Flatrock, NC

I scratched two more submissions off my list today. I will post an announcement if I am accepted to either show.

I’m also making great progress at the new gallery and makers’ space inside Wood, Metal, Clay in downtown Commerce. This is a ground-floor opportunity for me that was offered by a local businessman who specializes in carpentry, custom interiors, and handcrafted furniture.

My friends Grouse Creek Pottery recommended me for the position of showroom manager. Their beautiful pottery is on display in the space and they throw pots onsite during special events.

I will be introducing additional craftsmen on my blog in the next couple of weeks as I become familiar with everyone’s work. I moved most of my artwork and some studio furniture into my space last week. If all goes as planned over the next couple of days, I will be painting onsite by the end of the week.
