Patreon Subscriptions and Goals

I have been working very hard over the last several months to create content for and set up a Patreon page in order to pursue my art at a professional level. I will break down my rewards program and intended use for money raised in detail below. In summary, I am asking for dedicated patronage in order to purchase supplies, rent studio space, cover travel expenses, and and offer free community programs and workshops.
My goals and expenses will change over time, and I will provide updates at each change in order to offer transparency and honesty about my use of funding. Likewise, subscriptions, rewards, and benefits will change over time. It is my goal that the compensation I provide my patrons will evolve based on their needs and interests, so that we both receive value from our relationship.
Merchandise with my art on it is being offered at the Goddess Level and higher and will be created and shipped directly to patrons from Patreon. All handmade benefits will be made by me, in my studio. Annual subscriptions with discounts will be offered when I have received enough consistent donations to qualify.

What is Patronage?
The most important thing to understand about a patronage program like Patreon is that I am not asking for donations. Each tier level comes with content that takes hours to prepare and is unique to my personal story and my art. By contributing, you are making an investment in the future development of a body of work designed to empower women and give voice to unconventional concepts of beauty and strength.
Higher level tier contributions are compensated with physical rewards in the form of artwork, merchandise, and annual Curated Art Boxes. Please follow the links above for detailed information on each level.

Tier 1
Fae Level $3/Month
Receive a monthly newsletter via email including exclusive studio photos, upcoming projects and events, product previews, and special offers. This level supports my newsletter and social media content creation.
Content creation encompasses a wide range of tasks ranging from writing, research, shooting photos and videos, planning and logistics, scheduling, and interviewing models. Individually, these tasks require a significant amount of time.
Tier 2
Muse Level $5/Month
Receive a monthly newsletter via email including exclusive studio photos, upcoming projects and events, product previews, and special offers.
Receive access to exclusive work-in-progress and behind-the-scenes photos not posted to my blog or newsletter.
This level supports my ongoing supply costs such as brushes, paints, papers, and canvas panels. There are lots of consumable supplies in the studio that add up quickly. I greatly appreciate assistance with purchasing new materials because it will allow me to increase my productivity and plan for future projects. Having an extensive portfolio of art will improve my chances of getting accepted into shows and finding gallery representation for my work.
Tier 3
Warrior Queen Level $10/Month

Handmade mixed media postcards will often be on a wild woman theme, but may also include imagery and symbolism from my current projects. The materials I use might include handmade papers, ephemera, stamped images, reproductions of illustrations, a variety of pens, markers , and paint, stickers, or botanical elements.

Each month I will post at least 1 teaser video of supplies and materials being created and added to the boxes. Your box will ship during the last month of your annual subscription. All shipping costs are covered by your contribution.
This contribution level will support my large supply and equipment purchases, small travel expenses, and annual fees for web page maintenance.

Your upgraded Artisanal Art and Journaling Box will include all of the items listed in the previous Journaling Box PLUS handmade artisanal items made by small woman-owned businesses in my community. Each month I will post at teaser video of supplies and materials being added to the boxes. Throughout the year, I will also post studio tours or interviews with the woman makers I am supporting at this level. Your box will ship on the last month of your annual subscription. All shipping costs are covered by your contribution.
This contribution level will support my ability to start paying my models for their time and hire professional photographers for my photo shoots. My long term goal for this level is to start saving money to rent a professional studio space including the costs of permits, utilities, and insurance.
